Sunrise Hill - Gedong Songo

 

at Tungkubumi

On 7-8 January 2023, Angie and I spent our weekend in one area not far from our hometown: Gedong Songo. This time, we stayed a night in one place called SUNRISE HILL. This place does not only provide rooms to stay, it also provides some instagrammable spots. Therefore, people come here not only when they need a place to stay a night, people also come here to enjoy the beautiful scenery while eating out.

Angie and I departed around 08.00 from home, by motorcycle. As usual, Angie rode the motorcycle, I was as a passenger sitting behind her. The first place we dropped by was Tungkubumi, a kinda restaurant providing local cuisine. The restaurant has beautiful scenery around it, so many people go there to have their pictures taken while eating. :) I saw some groups of people going there.

 

 

 From Tungkubumi, Angie and I directly were on our way to Sunrise Hill. In here, there are 3 kinds of places to stay a night.

 

1. Joglo room (kamar joglo)
2. Glamping (glamorous camping)
3. Standard hotel

 

 

We chose to stay in one glamping. It cost Rp.575.000,00. We booked 2 weeks before we went there. There is a restaurant in this place, so tourists do not need to go out only to get something to eat. On this day, we had our lunch at Tungkubumi, we had dinner at Sunrise Hill.

We got free breakfast this morning : fried rice.

 

After we took a 'tour' around the area to take pictures, we packed our things and left.

On the way, we dropped by at Celosia, not far from Sunrise Hill. Then, from Celosia, we dropped by again at Kebon Kencana, a garden as well as café where people can also have lunch/dinner.

 

We arrived back home before 5 pm, enough time for Angie to take a rest, before going to work again the following morning. :)

Ke Gumuk Reco 4 September 2022

 

akhir Agustus 2022, mendadak Angie mengajakku dolan ke area Ambarawa - Salatiga. 

 

Angie: "Ma, do you know area Banyubiru?"

aku langsung patah hati rasanya waktu itu, she would go having fun with her besties again. 

Aku: "Iyalah. who are you going with?" tanyaku tak sabar.

Angie: "You."

 

O em jiii ... aku tak jadi merasa yang paling nelangsa di seluruh dunia. ketika aku cerita hal ini ke Angie, ("if you go with your friends, I would feel like to be the most miserable person in the world") dia memandangku dengan sorot mata tidak percaya, sambil bilang, "Oh Mama, itu PMS! Mama PMS!"

 

Oh iya. Kita sempat sarapan dulu di Salatiga. Ini sebelum aku tahu bahwa sebenarnya yang diinginkan Angie 'hanya' bikin vlog di jalan lingkar Ambarawa. Hahahahah. Maka setelah sampai pertigaan Bawen, kita masih terus menuju Salatiga. Baru kemudian balik ke arah Bawen, dan belok ke arah Ambarawa.

 

ini beberapa foto kami berdua saat dolan ke area Banyubiru tanggal 4 September 2022. Ternyata Angie tuh 'cuma' pengen bikin vlog pendek di jalan lingkar Ambarawa. Sudah. itu tok, lol. Maka setelah memutari jalan lingkar itu, ketika dia bertanya padaku aku ingin kemana lagi, aku bilang, "Telomoyo Yang." 

 

voila ... jadilah kami ke Gumuk Reco - Sepakung, Banyubiru. Thanks to google map! Yippeee. Saat disana, ada orang yang memprovokasi kami untuk lanjut ke puncak Telomoyo, tapi aku bilang ke Angie ga usah saja. Lha trek ke Gumuk Reco saja sudah bikin tratapan je. wkwkwkwkwkwk ...
